Congratulations to HiLo on Global Safety Award
We’d like to say a big congratulations to HiLo Maritime Risk Management on receiving the 2018 Lloyds List Global Safety Award. The award goes to a shipowner, operator, manager, company or institution that can demonstrate an outstanding commitment to improving safety for employees ashore or at sea with judges looking for examples of investment in new facilities, courses and roles, innovative training solutions and a sustained and effective approach to developing quality staff. HiLo developed a system to help mariners avoid high impact events, bringing together experts in maritime operations, risk analysis and statistics to produce the award-winning product.
Select were delighted to provide statistical support to HiLo, carrying out an independent review of their risk modelling and providing statistical advice on the approach. We look forward to hopefully working with them again on future projects.
