Working with the Sheffield Master’s Programme
Last week Lynsey was really pleased to visit Sheffield once more as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Masters in Statistics at the University of Sheffield. Having completed both her Masters and PhD at Sheffield, it was a great opportunity to visit her old department and meet some of their recent postgraduate students.

Camille Harrison joined Select in March as the newest member of the statistical consulting team. Camille has a PhD in Statistical Genetics and more than 10 year's experience working on projects within the healthcare, environment and agriculture sectors.

ExIStA Spring 2016 Event
The latest ExIStA event comprised a series of member presentations on a range of different themes - from open data to European windstorms, and tennis match-fixing to liver transplants. The diversity of the talks once again highlighted the variety of areas in which statistics are being used within local public and private sector organisations.
