Select are pleased to announce that Steve has been re-elected to RSS Council, the governing body of the Royal Statistical Society. This is the third time that Steve has been elected to join the Council and it follows a ballot of the Society’s members over the Summer with nearly 1,300 members voting for seven of nine candidates using the single transferable vote system.
Members of Council are also trustees of the Society which is a registered charity and they normally serve for a period of four years. “I’m delighted to be back on Council”, said Steve on hearing the results. “It’s a great opportunity to help shape the Society and to be involved with many of the exciting opportunites such as their brilliant GetStats campaign.”
